Aucland City

  The reasons why I choose Aucland  as the best place to live is in terms of based on their security,density and economic prosperity. Auckland is New Zealand`s largest city, with a population of just under 382,000 within the city boundary and 1.18 million in the greater Auckland area. This represents about one third of the population of the whole country. The city and suburbs cover an area of 60 square kilometres, with many of the suburbs having their own unique character. Auckland is built on a narrow isthmus between two harbours, and is surrounded by extinct volcanoes and picturesque islands. The city is known as the 'City of Sails' because of a great number of yachts that sail in the harbours and the adjoining Hauraki Gulf. English is the main written and spoken language, with Maori, Polynesian and Asian languages also being spoken by ethnic communities. Aucland was confirmed city to be the best city to live in also based on the security. The aim of the City Safe plan is to improve safety in Auckland. The concept of safety includes both real and perceived perceptions and concentrates on areas that prevent, reduce, and/or contain the social, environmental and intimidatory factors that affect the way that people participate in their communities. The City Safe plan will be effective when research informs that a very large majority of people interact in Auckland city without having a fear of crime, as well as believing that their community is a safe place to be. The plan highlights the need to work with a variety of stakeholders to achieve appropriate and safe outcomes for Auckland City. Such outcomes include a safe physical environment, as well as a responsiveness to issues associated with 'at risk' groups in the community. The plan also provides a mechanism to measure improvements in safety as well as responding to new safety needs. This information will be obtained from feedback through regular safety surveys. Auckland is the retail and commercial centre of New Zealand and the economic engine room of New Zealand, playing a key role in lifting economic performance for the whole country. Auckland is also the 'gateway' to New Zealand for tourism and immigration. it also offers various jobs to get higher incomes and improved living standards.
